Pervolia Cultural Festival
The 16th Pervolia Cultural Festival will take place in the village's main car park and will consist of traditional exhibits and a rich entertainment programme that features local song, dance and theatre. The village is famous for its lighthouse and Venetian tower, which visitors can also take in during their trip to the festival.

2017 Musical Minutes! Five Pianos, Five Days, Five Places
Five new pianos will be exhibited for five days at a different location each day. A travelling interactive installation that includes a total of 2017 minutes of music! Of course the pianos are not to be presented as mere exhibits, since musicians but also students and visitors will be able to test their skills on the piano keys.
Choirokoitia Neolithic Festival
Taking place at the ancient Choirokoitia Neolithic Settlement parking place, this event includes a guided tour of Choirokoitia Neolithic Settlement by a licensed guide. Choirokoitia Community Council will offer complimentary Cypriot drinks and delicacies to all visitors. Various stalls will sell traditional delicacies and crafts, and there will be a programme of Cypriot poetry and traditional dances.
Lingua Franca Ensemble
Musicians from Cyprus, Greece and Germany form this dynamic ensemble, that will perform in the context of the Travelling Stage. Members of the ensemble carry with them their personal and musical experiences on a musical quest, during which the traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean meet with Western elements and create a colourful musical landscape. Different music creations and traditions lead the audience on a journey of emotions, seeking euphoria of the soul and the mind.

Pafos2017 – 3rd Folklore Festival of Ktima
The European Capital of Culture – Pafos2017 and the “Ktima” Folklore Association promote Cypriot tradition but also build bridges between the town of Pafos and the outer world by presenting traditional music and dances from other countries. The Town Hall Square welcomes groups from Pafos, Thessaloniki, Crete and the Basque country in a journey of Cypriot and other traditions, through sounds, images and flavours.
Misia – The Soul of Fado
Misia is today perhaps the most famous voice of fado after Amalia Rodrigues. Utilizing the traditional form of Portuguese music, she creates and constantly renews fado with new material, bringing fado, in this way, closer to the new members of the audience. She often performs in Europe and Asia and her recordings are sold in hundreds of thousands of copies all over the world.

37th Lefkara Summer Festival
Lefkara village’s biggest celebration showcases its famous handicrafts of lace and silversmithing. Visitors can see demonstrations and exhibitions of the two intricate crafts, and enjoy a programme of music and dance. There will also be other activities and events.
Kiti Cultural Summer
Famous for its historically-significant Angeloktisti Church, Kiti village will hold the Kiti Cultural Summer Festival in the church yard from 9pm. The festival consists of a programme of traditional dance, music and song performances, theatre, children's entertainment and complimentary watermelon for all visitors.

CEV Beach Volleyball Championships
Larnaka has steadily carved itself a reputation as the ideal host for international beach volleyball tournaments, and this year, the beach volleyball court on Foinikoudes beach will welcome the European Beach Volleyball championships.
The CEV Beach Volleyball Satellite Larnaka – Women’s Tournament, and the CEV Youth Beach Volleyball Continental Cup will take place from August 03-06, with free admission for spectators.
Athletes from across Europe will come to Larnaka for the tournaments, with the town praised at past events for the facilities it offers both for the games themselves, and in the surrounding area for visitors to enjoy.
