15th Annual Festival of Tradition & Culture
Organised in a different village of rural Larnaka every year by the Ladies Association of Rural Larnaca, this festival embraces all the delicious customs of the island through stalls of traditional local products, food displays and crafts. The programme of activities and entertainment includes food tastings and folkloric music and dances.
1st Discover Larnaka Open City festival
As part of European Mobility Week, the first Discover Larnaka Open City festival will take place with the old and listed buildings around Saint Lazarus Church opening their doors to the public to discover the rich history of the area and its landmarks.
Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra, International KYPRIA Festival
The RCO is performing for the first time in Cyprus as part of the International KYPRIA Festival. Performing Wagner’s Prelude to Die Meistersinger von Nürnberg the members of the orchestra are sharing the music stand with young Cypriot musicians.

20th Pafos Aphrodite Festival
The 20th Pafos Aphrodite Festival opens its curtain with Gioachino Rossini’s masterpiece Il barbiere di Siviglia (The barber of Seville) on 31 August, 1 and 2 September at the Square of the Medieval Castle in Pafos in a production by the Italian organisation C.I.A.L.M. - Teatro Lirico Italiano in collaboration with the Ventidio Basso Ascoli Piceno Theatre and the participation of the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra.
19th Paradise Jazz Festival
Jazz players from Cyprus and abroad join together creating a strong line up. This year’s program will open up with Trio Misteriozo on Friday 17th August.

The biggest and most exciting festival in Cyprus announces the most ambitious line-up of its 8-year journey. Acclaimed international artists will perform at the festival’s stages, thus including Cyprus in their European tours for the first time. At the same time, Fengaros Festival has chosen the most interesting acts of the current Greek music scene such as Σtella, Negros tou Moria and Bazooka, among others, and just like every year it will present the best and most active bands from Cyprus.

Cyprus International Food Festival
CIFF2018Larnaka in collaboration with the Municipality of Larnaka will host vendors with street food from around the world on July 7 and 8, 2018 at the spectacular Europe Square, Phinikoudes. A huge variety from across Europe, the Middle East from Syria to Siberia and of course from Cyprus with lots of wine and beer from around the world.

3rd Arts Festival Faneromeni
As was the case in the previous two years, so too this year Nicosia’s (Lefkosia) largest courtyard, that of the Bank of Cyprus Cultural Foundation, opens its gates every Thursday from June to September to welcome everyone wishing to enjoy feature films, musical routes, music and theatre performances and strong emotions. A multidimensional festival with local and international performances at the Foundation’s open-air amphitheatre, it aspires to become the city’s most vibrant cell.

Nicosia, the Birth and the Growth of a Capital, Byzantine - Medieval Period
The exhibition showcases the historical course of Nicosia as capital of Cyprus since the 10th c. when, according to historical information, Nicosia undertakes for the first time the role of the administrative centre of Byzantine Cyprus.
