Baggage rules and Security

We advice that you never leave baggage or personal belongings unattended in or around the terminal, as they will be removed by the Police Authorities and may be destroyed. Make sure that your checked-in bags taken with you onboard belongs only to you.

Remember, never leave your baggage in the care of a stranger, and always put your name and address on a label inside your bags. DO not accept parcels or packages that belong to others (even friends), unless you can check the contents yourself.

Security measures are applied at Larnaka and Pafos airports to prevent and safeguard passengers against acts of unlawful interference. The appropriate authority to define and supervise the above measures is the Civil Aviation Department and the Cyprus Police Authorities, which are the departments enforcing the above measures.
