Short description:

The Accountant reports to the Financial Controller. The main area of responsibility is to perform accounting tasks, maintaining financial records up to date in line with the company’s policies and procedures, laws, regulations and the concession and loan agreements.  

Other areas of responsibility include:

  • Issue invoices to airlines, tenants and other debtors in an accurate and timely manner in accordance with the company procedures

  • Ensure that the company’s invoicing comply with the laws and regulations

  • Maintain the accounting systems up to date at all times with the correct and accurate financial data according to the company’s policies and procedures to minimise liabilities

  • Assist in the annual departmental budget preparation and in the control of the operational expenses of the department

  • Participate in the implementation of projects and tasks to fulfil company’s objectives as per the agreed standards, timescales and budget

  • Establish and maintain solid relations with other departments, stakeholders, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure effective overall coordination, support and exchange of information



  • BA in Accounting or any other related qualification

  • Minimum 2-3 years relevant working experience

  • Very good of knowledge of MS Office with particular reference in advance use of Microsoft Excel

  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English languages (verbal and writing)

  • Good knowledge of the applicable VAT and Tax laws

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles

  • Hands-on experience with various accounting software platforms
