Short description:

The IT Support Officer reports to the Team Leader IT & T. The main area of responsibility is the day-to-day support and activities related to the organization. This position is highly technical in nature, requires excellent technical skills in a variety of competencies, and the ability to learn and adopt new technologies.

Other areas of responsibility include:

  • Follow-up the status of faulty equipment sent for repair/replacement and ensure that will be within the agreed SLA’s

  • Provide 2nd level of support and resolve problems to the end user’s satisfaction on workstation and network level

  • Manage PC setup and deployment for new employees using standard hardware, images, and software

  • Maintain a tidy inventory of existing hardware and software

  • Cooperate with Senior IT colleagues for ongoing maintenance of the servers and networks

  • Patch management and upgrades for the workstations

  • Project management – running small scale IT projects

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • BSc in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any relevant field

  • Two years’ working experience in a similar position or in an IT-related field.  

  • Good knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft 365, networking basics, and cloud platforms. 

  • Experience with Active Directory and Cisco networking equipment is an advantage. 

  • Very good knowledge of Greek and English languages (verbal and written).
