As reflected in its corporate Energy Policy.  Hermes Airports is firmly committed to excel in Energy Management, where all challenges are addressed within the framework of the Energy Management System (EnMS). Following hard work and efficient planning, Hermes Airports has received the ISO50001:2011, considered to be the leading international accreditation in the field of energy management.

Hermes Airports has acquired the fourth level of the ACA Certification Level 3+ Neutrality (achieving net zero carbon emissions) for Larnaka and Pafos airports, which relates to the offset of carbon dioxide emissions. The accreditation confirms the steady and long-term reduction of carbon dioxide emissions whilst at the same time confirms the occurrence of its energy policy and strategy. At the same time, it reveals an effective action plan aiming at the further reduction of carbon dioxide emissions through specific targets.
