Andys Frangos joined Hermes in June 2006 as Maintenance and Engineering Manager at Pafos airport. In 2010 he was appointed to the position of Senior Manager Operations at Pafos airport and in February 2015 moved to corresponding position at Larnaka airport.
In May 2022, he moved to the position of the Head of Technical assuming the responsibility for the management of all physical infrastructure, systems, and assets of both airports and for the on time and cost-effective delivery of the capital improvement projects. Leading a multi-discipline team of professional engineers, he is responsible the implementation of best practices for the execution of the maintenance contracts for the preventive, corrective and long-term major maintenance and ensures that it is performed in a sustainable, energy efficient and cost-effective manner.
Andy has over 25 years management experience gained in multi stakeholder environments in the UK and Cyprus with his current focus being on airport operations and engineering and maintenance management. Andy holds a BEng in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Sheffield (UK), an MSc in Building Services Engineering from Glasgow University (UK) and an MBA from Cyprus International Institute of Management (CIIM). He is a Chartered Engineer registered in the UK and a member of ETEK in Cyprus.
