Hermes Airports Liquids, Aerosols, and Gels Policies
Want to bring liquids, aerosols or gels with you? Please carefully read the following information regarding your safety.
To protect against the threat of liquid explosives, there are rules for taking liquids, aerosols, and gels (LAGs) on flights in and out of Larnaka and Pafos airport. There are quantity limits for liquids, aerosols, and gels that may be taken on board the aircraft, and specific rules around the duty-free liquid, aerosol or gel items.
These containers must be placed within a single, transparent, re-sealable plastic bag, which itself must not exceed 1 litre in capacity (approximately 20cm x 20cm). The contents of the plastic bag must fit comfortably and the bag must be sealed.
Only ONE transparent bag of liquids is permitted per passenger and must be presented for examination at the Security Checkpoints.
Certain exemptions apply for medicines, medical products, medical devices and baby products that you may need during the flight. The European Commission provides further information about LAG restrictions and exemptions.
Whenever possible, you should prepare your luggage before you arrive at the airport. However, suitable transparent, re-sealable plastic bags are available at the Security Checkpoints, for people who need them.
