Terms & Conditions of licensing cleaning contractors for providing cleaning services at users of space at the International Airports of Larnaka and Pafos


(i) To be a registered company in Cyprus or in any other EU Member State or an individual who

can legally do business in Cyprus. In both cases, the directors, or the individual (as the case

may be) must have a clean criminal record.

(ii) To be tax and VAT registered in Cyprus.

(iii) To legally employee people with clean criminal record and who can secure the required

airport access permits from the Department of Civil Aviation.

(iv) To have ISO 9001:2008 (Quality Management System).

(v) To have a Health and Safety Plan.

(vi) To have an Environmental Management Plan.

(vii) To have a Hazardous Substances Management Plan.

(viii) To have public liability insurance, which should include environmental coverage.


Each licensed contractor undertakes against Hermes Airports that:

(a) They will secure all airport access permits required by the Department of Civil Aviation.

(b) They will fulfil the above conditions for the whole period of carrying out business

activities in the airports.

(c) They will comply with airports' terms of use, operational rules and processes;

environmental protection and health and safety related in particular.
