Checking-in at Larnaka and Pafos airports

Airports can be confusing places especially for the first-time traveller. They are actually not too complex as long as you approach each step in order. Before departing, make sure you know your airline and flight number, found on your ticket or receipt. This will make navigating through our airports much easier.

Check your ticket or contact your airline for advice on check-in times. As a general guide, we advise you to arrive at least two hours before your flight's scheduled time of departure to allow plenty of time to check in, pass through the immigration and security checks etc. However, we recommend that you check with your airline for specific check-in times, as these times may vary.

The check-in areas are clearly signed within each terminal. To find your airline's check-in desk, look at the flight information screens at the entrances of the buildings. Check your airline, destination, flight number and time of departure to find the correct desk.

For an optimum and ‘seamless travel’, you have the alternative to use self-service or online check-in.

Check out the following video, which provides you with tips on the security check processes followed at Larnaka and Pafos airports.

Once you're over with the check-in process, we recommend that you head straight to Security and towards the departure gates. We've got plenty of shops and restaurants to unwind in. Make sure to keep an eye out for the information screens in the departure areas which show flights, boarding times and gate numbers. Boarding usually begins around 45 minutes to one hour before the departure of your flight.
