Hermes Airports informs the travelling public that Cyprus’ air connectivity with Europe has been restored, as several flights that were temporarily suspended due to the situation in the Middle East resumed operations in the past few days, strengthening connectivity at the two airports of the Republic of Cyprus. Specifically, airlines of the Lufthansa Group (Lufthansa, Austrian, Edelweiss, Eurowings), as well as British Airways, easyJet and Transavia, have resumed their flights to and from Larnaka and Pafos airports.
In addition, as of Saturday, Emirates has resumed the Larnaka–Dubai route, operating on a daily basis.
It is worth noting that today, 9 March, based on airline schedules at this point in time, a total of 102 flights are expected to operate at Larnaka Airport and 36 flights at Pafos Airport.
