Terms and Conditions for the participation in training courses organised by Hermes Airports LTD (herein after ‘HERMES ACADEMY”):
 

  • Confirmation of participation will be sent upon receipt of your duly completed registration form.
  • Places for each training course are limited and will be allocated on a first come - first served basis.
  • Hermes Academy reserves the right to change the date, cancel or postpone a training course prior to the set date due to low participation or for any other unforeseen reason which makes the conduct of a training course impractical. Hermes Academy shall not be liable for any cost, damage or expense which may be incurred by you as a consequence of the training course being so changed, merged, postponed or cancelled and you agree to hold Hermes Academy harmless and to indemnify it in case of liability caused by any such changes, mergers, postponements or cancellations. Where Hermes Academy cancels a training course it may offer you a full credit up to the amount paid or reimburse the amount.
  • Payment of the registration fee for the training course should be made in full within thirty (30) calendar days from the issuance of the invoice. All prices given are net prices plus VAT. The payment can be made either through bank transfer at least five (5) days prior the commencement of the training course or with a cheque on the day of the training course.
  • For classroom training courses, the registration fee includes participation to the training course, finger food/lunch and refreshments, admission to networking social events and training materials. The registration fee does not include travel, hotel accommodation, or transfers.
  • For online training courses, the registration fee includes participation to the online training course and training materials.
  • For online training courses participants are required to have equipment (laptop/tablet) with a camera which will need to be turned on at all times during the training.
  • In order to be eligible for subsidized training courses, you must be registered to the specific training course, in advance through the Human Resources Development Authority website.
  • If cancellation notice is provided to Hermes Academy in writing not less than seven (7) days before the training course, the full fee will be refunded. If cancellation notice is given less than seven (7) days before the training course, no refund will be given. You can replace the participant with a participant who his/her profile matches the specific training course with prior notice of at least two (2) days prior to the training courses.
  • A Certificate of Achievement will be given to all the participants who will attend the whole training course and who will achieve the score level in the case of an assessment in the specific training course.
  • Hermes Academy owns all intellectual rights to the training material prepared for the training courses. You agree that you will not copy the training materials and/or use them without the prior written permission of Hermes Academy.
  • Personal Data Protection: Hermes Academy will process the personal data received in accordance with the policies of Hermes Airports Ltd. and in compliance with the Law providing for the Protection of Natural Persons with regard to the Processing of Personal Data and for the Free Movement of such Data of 2018 (Law 125(I)/2018) and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (Data Protection Law and Regulation). Hermes Academy is committed to ensure the privacy of the information received in relation to personal data and will ensure that the information will be maintained confidential. The personal data will be retained for a period of two years. Please note that for subsidized training courses the personal data provided will be shared with HRDA.
  • You agree that the terms and conditions will be communicated to the participants prior to attending the training course.
  • Hermes Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.
