A virtual event took place last week to promote working at the airport and different career paths to enhance the recruitment efforts made by the airport community.
As the Toulouse Declaration marks a new chapter in Europe’s journey towards aviation’s net zero 2050 goal, airports from across the continent -amongst others, Larnaka and Pafos International Airports have emerged as one of the strongest voices driving the initiative forwards.
Hermes Airports’ commitment to continuously develop its people and the practices followed for this accomplishment, is demonstrated by having its internationally recognised Platinum Investors in People (IIP) accreditation renewed.
Hermes Airports within the framework of the continuous upgrade and implementation of innovative practices in its people management, obtained another significant accreditation. The MEECO (Measuring, Employment Sciences, Executive Coaching, Corporate Leadership, Organizational Culture) Gold designation acknowledges the importance of Human Resources Management within the company, demonstrating the strong commitment of Hermes Airports in achieving excellence through the design and execution of its Human Resources program, with emphasis on executive coaching.
Hermes Airports supports the collective campaign for the safe reopening of European Borders and the easing of travel restrictions across Europe, with other tourism industry associations. The Destination Summer campaign’s goal is working with European Union and national policymakers to adopt a harmonised approach for the lifting of travel restrictions – enabling the safe and smooth resumption of free movement for European citizens.
